Worst diner I’ve ever been to! The food was disgusting and cold. The food was so bad that it made me sick! The service was terrible as well, very rude people there. Never going back there again.

Greek salad is great!! Very tasty meal. Excellent service.

The food is great the service is terrific the waitress Jeri is great at her job she is friendly and courteous with a warm personality her and her mom Missy who hasn't been there for a few weeks do to work issues that need to be cleared up soon and have her come back soon are valuable employees that should be respected that way the rest of the staff are great also will keep going there as long as Jeri and Missy are working there if they aren't I will find other places to eat but would like to keep going there so please fix the issues

Very cool, classic 50s style Diner. Good home cooked burgers too.

I want to drop a compliment to the mother daughter team who works nights at the diner. They are literally the reason my wife and I go. The food is ok but their friendly attitude is what makes it a better experience. If you are ever there nights ask for Mom and Jeri. They’re the best.

Great standard Jersey diner. Try the New York egg cream and one of their specials. You'll be full for days... Or at least will have so many leftovers.

This is my favorite diner to hit up when I'm in New Jersey. I'm Canadian and I'm used to poutine but their disco fries can almost rival a lot of poutines I've had. The prices are reasonable and the portions are decent. Service is quick and the servers are always friendly.

Great place, then, now and forever

Great place. We confer everytime we our in town. This time we all had sandwiches. I had the Ruben panini and disco fries it was fantastic. Our server was great. We're never had a empty glass.

Love this diner! We normally aren't dining in this area, but when we do, we know where we're eating!

We've been going here for a long time and it's like our family restaurant now. Always good food, friendly and timely service. Wide selection on the menu so they have something for everyone and you don't have to struggle to find a parking spot since they have plenty on their yard.

A good place to go for a quick bite. The place is neat and clean and the staff is friendly and attentive. Breakfast was quite good and I highly recommend their chocolate chip pancakes, you won't be disappointed.

It use to be the Parsippany Diner. The waiter's & waitresses are good. No complaints on the service from them. How ever the recent history has been sited by the board of health. Have seen roaches and there are time the walk way can be icey. The food has been decent. But there needs to be more done to stay on top of the issues addressed here.

The worst most rudest service I have ever experienced. The guy who sat us was very welcoming told us to take our time. Waitress came from smoking as we were looking at the menu asked us what we wanted asked for a few more minutes to look and she response you know we close in 30 minutes right...then she came back to the table asked another question in the most rudest manner .said the heck with it and left before I put her in her place..save your self the aggression and just dont go ..prices are high and service with a smile is not required

I love this place because it has amazing waiters and waitresses and the food is delicious. This is the best dinner in town!!!! This place is so amazing!!!!!

We ordered take out online, the website was very user friendly. Our order was ready so fast, and they packed us up the perfect bundle of everything we could possibly need, sides that would normally come when you eat in but are often left out of take out orders at other places! The food was absolutely delicious and the perfect amount ! We’re excited to have found “our” diner close to home!

Being that I am a diner aficionado, the empire always takes care of you. The wait staff was pleasant and they always try to get you whatever you need. Parking is perfect no problems

I dined here two times and I may or may not return here, but I will only buy basic dishes. Also, the old guy who seats people seems a bit rude. I ordered pastichio (a Greek dish) and I was very disappointed, because it was nothing like what pastichio should be. It was just a bunch of pasta glued to each other with feta cheese and the tomato sauce was only on top. Also, the salad that came with it tastes just as bland as what my parents make from Costco. The other pasta dishes here are awful.They give you large portions, but the food here is overpriced for the bad taste.The food is terrible unless you get a burger. Take your business somewhere else when there are other diners nearby in less convenient locations

Wouldn’t even chive this place one star if I had the choice. Food was terrible. Dry, no flavor and cold. Service was even worse. After dropping off our tasteless cold food, our waitress never came back to check on us or we would have told her. We wanted drinks and more coffee which we never got. She was too busy sitting and chatting with customers that are obviously friends of hers. Next time she came by us was to drop off a box and check while commenting on our uneaten food. I have never had such a terrible experience any where. Don’t waste your time or money!

Tipical dinner with amazing quick service at lunch time.

What's not to love? It's the local diner! They're almost always friendly. The good/menu is exactly what you'd expect. The coffee's hot, the burgers are greasy, and the "popcorn chicken w/ fries" could feed a small army. We may live closer to the montville diner, but that's one of those over priced dreary holes in the wall where they charge you for soda refills. The Empire Diner's where it's at.

Great food, good service, inexpensive pricing, and a wonderful diner overall. I will definitely be back!

Great outdoor space!!!

Typical diner fare at slightly high prices. Not my favorite by far but for the area and in a pinch, not bad. Also, almost always quick seating.

Service was very good and the food tastes good. But I found Multiple hairs in my fries which really turned me off

We were just going to order sandwiches. Expecting something light just because we weren't that hungry. Instead we were given these incredible monsters. I ordered the Pastrami Ruben on Rye and he had ordered the Cuban Panini with the home made chips. Everything was so mouth wateringly delicious. The service was very quick, very attentive and just amazing. Very wheelchair friendly as well. Never rushed us and even made it a point to tell us to take our time. We will definitely be back whenever we are in the area.

I think this place is great. I asked for an off menu item and they immediately had no problem with it. The Pastrami Omelette! It was so good. Extremely friendly and prompt service, and the place had a great vibe. It is living up to the diner standard.

I've never been to a diner were the food was as tasteless as it was. I had to douse it in sugar salt and pepper. All I ordered was an omelette and oatmeal. They didn’t have grits which I found odd due to the fact that it’s a diner. But the server was very friendly. Plus on that.

Outstanding food with a nice clean old fashioned diner environment. I'm sad I can't return until I can make my way back through the state.

Haven't been there for quite some time, but, food was good when I was there. Don't know about their pricing, though, as it's been a few years since I ate there.

I’ve tried so hard to give this diner a chance because it’s In my home town but I’m disappointed every, single time. The food is simply not good. I’ve tried different things and except for maybe their turkey triple decker, nothing else was enjoyable. Even something as simple as a breakfast sandwich was disappointing. It was mostly bread. The people are nice enough but I truly hope they redo their menu and recipes.

Great omelettes. Not sure how they make them, but very tasty. Great service. Unfortunately, the bathrooms need better cleaning.

I had a very nice reasonably priced lunch here. I will recommend this place for breakfast or lunch, if you are in the area.

The specials are a great deal. Soup salad and dessert are included. I enjoyed the lemon sole, the trout was great and my brother had the prime rib which was also good. . However, the dessert my brother and I had were not fresh. The lemon merengue pie, the merengue was hardened and an almond layer cake seemed like it was beginning to turn sour. The blueberry pie was very good.
